Mask Madness: Elizavecca Milky Piggy Bubble Clay Mask

Hey Guys!!!! Back on my beauty blog... Korean line now really rocks and making more and more on the top list of female and even male skincare, so let me share my experience.....

The product that convinced me to try this AB line is the Elizavecca Milky Piggy Bubble Clay Mask. To those of you who watch my video, I know it's very intriguing. So now let me walk with you, all about the product and I'll give you my view after using it.

What is Elizavecca Milky Piggy Bubble Clay Mask?
According to +Memebox  "It is a masked packed with charcoal powder, that cleanses, exfoliates and unclog pores. But the twist is, it is carbonated that makes a bubbles as it sloughs off dead skin cells and lift pore-clogging dirt and sebum. It also has a powerful nutrients that replenish your skin, and make it soft and smooth for a youthful glow."

Product size:
100g

Product Ingredients and its function:
Adapted from cosdna
It's packaging:
It comes from a sealed plastic container with little spatula that was clipped with the sealer/lid. The size of the spatula would utilize the mask on your face. The cover do have a cute pig on it.
How to apply:
This mask can be use as the first step in cleaning your face or you can also use it to follow your regular skincare cleaning for a deep clean session. Take an ample amount of the mask (keep in mind that you should keep the product sealed to prevent oxidation),then spread it evenly to your face (you also need to spread the mask quickly cause it start to bubble fast). Avoid applying the mask near your eyes, nostril and lips cause the bubble is a bit disturbing. After 5 minutes your face will look like a cloud  which is very funny to look in the mirror and upon the process you also can feel a tingly and itchy sensation but don't panic that means the mask is doing it's magic. To get the most out of it massage your face with the mask for 1-2 minutes, then wash it with a lukewarm water (it might be a bit difficult and messy to wash off, might as well take a warm and relaxing shower and use a sponge on washing your face). Then you can feel the magic that this mask give your face..

How often can you use this mask:
Well it really depends on you but you can use it anytime of the day for a maximum of 3x a week. But for me I just use it once a week.
My Judgement:
Pros:
  • This product makes my skin so soft and smooth.
  • My pores especially on my T-zone are really clean
  • My face after using felt so light
  • And even some dry spots are gone
  • This product doesn't make your face dry at all
Cons:
  • Don't apply the product near your eyes and even be careful on applying it to your nose because once the product generates bubbles there a big chance that it will cover your nostril and be disturbing to your nose and eyes
  • Upon washing off the products you need a sponge or a towel to help remove it cause pure water will give you a hard time.
  • My suggestion: While doing this routine you just take a bath because its a little bit messy.
Score:
Out of 10, I give this product a 9 cause they did what it supposed to do on my skin. It's a fun activity too. Though a bit weird but you will see yourself laughing. The packaging is so cute. The price is not expensive at all. About how to wash it off I can deal with it, it's not a big deal.

Will I still use this product once I'm done:
This product, is the item to bet if I can find any other bubble mask. So yes I will definitely buy this product again

All about cooking: Salsa Verde using convectional oven

One of the advantages of being married to a person with different race and you're a food lover like me, your exposure to new delicacies and sauce. And I am lucky to be one. I'm married to a full blooded Mexican. Aside from their famous frijoles (beans) and tortillas and all their mouthwatering delicacies one will always stand out for me and that's their SALSA (sauce).............

I alone is not into spicy sauce but in Mexico, I think they have a level of how their salsa will taste and I ended loving the mild SALSA VERDE (green sauce) , there's a kick but won't make you cry. And today I will share with you on how I make my own. So prepare your tostada (chips/tortilla chips) and lets enjoy dipping it with our salsa....

Note: Just got the advise of my Suegra (mother-in-law) if you want your salsa to be picoso (spicy), select a jalapeño pepper the one with stripes so the kick will level up but if you want it to be spiciest ( I don't know the right term :-) ) try the habañero pepper.

And let's get started... Total time to prepare this will be 25 to 40 minutes.

Materials you need:

  • convectional oven
  • blender or food processor
  • chopping board
  • knife
  • tongs
Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 lbs of tomatillos (about 10 medium), peeled (some tomatillos is still wrap by its leaves) and rinsed
  • 1 to 2 medium jalapeno pepper, stemmed (refer the note above)
  • 1/2 cup chopped white onion
  • 1/2 of a bunch of cilantro
  • 1 whole lime, squeeze (depends how you like your salsa)
  • 1/2 to 1 tsp of salt, to taste
  • Optional: If you want your salsa to be creamy you can add 1 to 2 avocados
Instruction:
  1. Preheat the broiler with a rack  about 4 inches below the heat source. Place the tomatillos and the stemmed jalapeños on a baking sheet or aluminum foil and broil, until it blackened in spots for about 5 minutes.
  2. After 5 minutes remove the tray then carefully flipped the tomatillos and jalapeños with tongs and broil again for 6 to 8 minutes, until the tomatillos are freckled-black and blistered.
  3. While waiting for the tomatillos and pepper to be done. In your blender or food processor combine your chopped onion, cilantro, lime juice and salt. Add 1/4 cup of water and pulse until it liquify.
  4. Once the tomatillos and pepper is out of the oven, carefully transferred it with there juices into the food processor or blender. Pulse until the mixture is mostly smooth and no big chunk remain. Season to taste with salt and lime, if desired. If you'd like to make it creamy add the avocado to your salsa when it cool down, then blend it for 1 to 2 minutes.

I used convectional oven cause I find it easier than the usual way that my Suegra was doing. And for storage suggestion it should be keep well refrigerated, covered for at least 1 week. And if you added avocado on it, it will keep well till 3 to 4 days.

Suggestion: With this recipe you can also use red tomato to make a Roasted Tomato Salsa.

All about Cooking... Chicken Curry Filipino Style

Hey Readers!!! Hope everything is well at your end...
Today I'll share with you a glimpse of some challenges that I have as a wife. :) And this is COOKING. Way back in the Philippines I'm not fond of cooking at all. If I cook I'll choose the easiest one Frying. hehehe... But being married I think this is a must for you to know how to cook, and thank God for the power of internet. So today I'll share with you my own version of Chicken Curry Filipino Style, mainly I got the idea from +Kawaling Pinoy and I just add a little sprinkle of my own style.

Filipino Chicken Curry can be made two kind the one with curry powder and the one without. Either the two it really taste so good. Partner this with rice.... Ohhhh that will be a sumptuous and colorful meal....

This recipe is good for 2 servings. And it took an hour and half (1 1/2 hours) to prepare and cook this viand.

Ingredients
  • 1/8 cup of olive oil
  • 2 medium potatoes, peeled and quartered
  • 2 large carrots or 8 baby carrots, peeled and cubes
  • 1/4 big white onion, peeled and chopped
  • 3 cloves of garlic, peeled and minced
  • 2 pieces of breast, cut into serving parts
  • 1 tbsp  of fish sauce
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, slice into strings or cubes
  • 3 pieces of mushroom (optional just my husband loves this)
  • 1/2 can of lite coconut milk
  • 1 cup of water (can be more if you want more soup )
  • 2 tbsp curry powder
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
  1. In a pan over medium heat. Heat a portion of the oil, then add potatoes and cook until lightly browned. Then remove it from the pan and drain on paper towels (to absorb the oils). Add the carrots and cook it for 1 or 2 minutes. Then remove from the pan  and let it stand on the paper towels as well.
  2. With the remaining oil in the pan, add the chicken and let it simmer, with occasional stirring, for about 7 to 8 minutes or until the chicken changes color. Remove or set aside the chicken. Then add the rest of the oil in the pan and add the onions and garlic and cook until it becomes aromatic. Then add your chicken, your potatoes and your fish sauce and continue to cook for about 2 to 3 minutes.
  3. Add your coconut milk and water. Bring to simmer. Then lower heat, cover and continue to cook for about 30 minutes until the chicken are fully cooked and potatoes are fork-tender (you can add more water). Then add your carrots and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Add your curry powder and stir. Let it simmer until the sauce thicken. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Then add bell pepper and mushroom, cook for about a minute before you serve it. Serve hot with rice.

Enjoy!!!!

If you ever tried to cook this and have some tips for me just leave a comment. I'd love to hear from you

kisses.... Emmelyn

How To Add Social Media Icon To Your Blogger Account

Hi to all my Readers!!! Hope your doing pretty well..

Today  I'll share with you my experience as a newbie blogger. Designing a blog templates is easy cause the blogger website are so helpful to give all the choices already BUT the tricky part is for you to incorporate your social media pages to your blog to gain more followers and subscriber, Right? Anyway, I spent like almost whole day just to search for a great video tutorial to help me put my icons on my blog (not so easy huh..)

So yesterday I finally find the most helpful video of all in youtube  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fb94xCaWsnk, thanks to Ms. Karen Creftor. I just follow what she said on that video:

Step 1: a. I access my blog go to layout, then on the right-side bar 1, I click the add a gadget.

  b. After that I click the add a gadget then it will open a new window of all the gadget you'd like to add, you have a choices to do the basic (where blogger made it convenient to all of us), then more gadget from third party and you can also add your own. So we will go to basic then choose the HTML/Javascript, then add it to your layout. Then it will open again another window to configure it. In the title just leave it blank, then in the content this is the code that you will follow, just copy/paste it for how many social media site  you want to incorporate in your blog, for me I want 5 so I paste this codes 5 times

<a href="LINK">
<img src="IMG LOCATION LINK" />
</a>

Step 2: a. At this point you need all the URLS from all your social media sites. And paste it at the first link of the code.

ex: <a href="https://www.facebook.com/emmelyn27">
<img src="IMG LOCATION LINK" />
</a>
just continue pasting it on how many social media you want.

Step 3: This is the difficult part cause this pertains to the image design you want, and I can only give you some of the icon I saw in pinterest that works. This is the blog website of the one I use http://www.hopefulhoney.com/2013/04/free-pink-social-media-icons.html, and I also read that she can also make an icon on her etsy account, so on this blog she has 12 free different icon you just click the social media you like then copy the URLS and paste it on the second quotation mark in the code, and same thing you will do on the other sites

ex: <a href="https://www.facebook.com/emmelyn27">
<img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQY6WzPgCyTRL9_PKnTwl5Ov9R11xcJRoT1LAMwHJoMO_XR0IFnvreCb16-NhYKwv8yuE0zhXQUwwwz2rFP2-9cNFQdV0nrx4KKwA_qP7FTu1X02uqOP3yCRnSPq_FhVpYVAhwpu_kF_0/s1600/Facebook+Social+Media+Icons.png" />
</a>

Step 4: After your done editing the code, just click save, then you can preview it or save arrangement to your blog and you can view your blog.

So that's it, I hope this blog will be helpful for a newbie blogger like me. Hit subscribe if you like. Leave a comment for any suggestion that you want me to blog next time.

Special thanks to Ms Karen Creftor https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fb94xCaWsnk and Ms. Olivia Kent http://www.hopefulhoney.com/2013/04/free-pink-social-media-icons.html. And most especially to all my readers......Thanks for stopping by.

Till next time guys.. Have a good day.. And remember Smile....

I Did The Challenge And Was Amaze!!!

Sometimes in May, Memebox introduce a challenge of 7 day Bon Vivant Botanical Mask Kit. So I ordered mine. :)

 All About the MASK

Bon Vivant is a Korean skincare brand that was designed by Memebox that mostly carries Masks in different category and some accessories. So the botanical kit had 3 different kind, I chose the 7 day Rose Mask Kit for Dull Skin and it comes from an extra 1 tea tree mask which is good for oily skin + a cat headband.

According to Memebox this masks are:

  • 100% Botanical fiber mask sheet
  • botanical juice as the primary ingredient instead of purified water
  • hypoallergenic; clinically-proven to be suitable for sensitive skin (Note: If you experience tingling sensation, your skin is working hard to recover its healthy pH level)
All about the ingredients/materials

  • Damask Rose Water as primary ingredient.
  • It has some nutrients like Panthenol which renews the skin cells and moisture barrier; Allantoin that calms stressed skin; Birch Sap that balances water-oil levels; Hyaluronic Acid that locks in moisture; and Trehalose that prevents moisture loss
  • This mask is made entirely of rose fiber extracted from 400 rose petals
  • It has high moisture absorbency and retain ability
  • Skin-hugging fit and breath ability

* Damask Rose contains vitamin A and C that promotes brighter and clearer complexion. A natural estrogen property that restores elasticity and vitality

How to use:
  1. After cleaning, prep your skin with toner
  2. Take out the mask and remove the protective plastic film. (Pat the unopened package to spread the essence)
  3. Apply evenly to face and leave on for 10-20 minutes
  4. Remove the sheet and gently pat to absorb remaining essence
Size: 23 ml

And the challenge begin.....

My Before Photo with my Dull Skin And Some Trouble Marks
I started the 7 day challenge mask last June 25, 2016 at night ( I know its almost a month for this review, just been a little occupied with some things). My face before that, has some pimple marks and even some that's are starting to pop. The mask has a rosy scent. Memebox even advice to put the mask in the fridge for an hour before using but I didn't do it I just put the mask as it is. And its really cold and relaxing. This botanical fiber mask is really different among all the mask that is in the market its lighter and thinner that provide skin-hugging fit when you put it on your face. While the mask is on my face I felt a tingling sensation especially in my nose area and it's very cold. The mask can also absorb every essence in the pack that's why its really wet when you put it. On the first night all I can say is the mask will give you a fresh feeling after though you need to let it dry first because your face is a little sticky. A morning after my first challenge I can see my face is moisturize, smooth and glowing. It didn't do much on my trouble problems yet. So I continue doing this 6 nights more. Still giving me the same result and at day 2 till I finish doing it, it did a little magic on my trouble marks (it lightens) and even help in drying out some of my pimples.

My Snap Filters while doing it
The Result after 7 days/nights

My Ratings

  • Pretty much all the reviews on putting a mask everyday for a series of time will give a very good effect on your skin, and this mask did it to my skin so I gave 5 stars for that
  • In terms of time that I'm doing this since I chose to do it at night and even if I have it on I still can do my chores and spending time with my love ones; I give it a 4 out of 5. The reason I gave it 4, doing it everyday is a little too much, but the effect is good though you won't feel sorry for it.
  • The value of money, well this masks I got it for $14 contains 7 botanical rose mask + 1 free mint/tea tee mask + a cat headband which cost like $21 in a retail price so I did saved a bunch; that's why I give a perfect 5 also.
My Advise
To my readers I can say that you should give it a try. Putting a mask on your face for 7 days straight might seems so time consuming but honestly its not you just need less than 5 minutes to put it and to remove it, the 20 minutes that it will stay on your face since its skin hugging you can still do some other activities. The value of money, it might seem that since I begin adoring and even endorsing AB (Asian Beauty products) mostly Korean products that you think I'm always spending a big amount of money from my paycheck, the answer is NO. Korean seller always gives a featured product which is a set where you can have some freebies and also discounts for a specific products that's why I advise you when you buy don't think that the most expensive one is the only one who can give good results in your skin and the cheaper one won't. Just be a wise consumer and you will be amaze.

If you ever wonder will I do a challenge for a mask again not for quite a while, I just did it just to experience the effect of it for using it 7 days straight. I'll just do a mask session once or twice a week for now. :)

I'd challenge you to try doing the mask on if your not interested to do it everyday just do once or twice a week and you will love the effect.

Where I get my products and some websites I'll try:
  • www.us.memebox.com (US based)
  • www.jolse.com (other country and even US based can order here, they ship international)
Thanks!!! Memebox for the info and the products.

Skincare 101: MaryKay Timewise Microdermabrasion Set

I love it!!!love it!!!! love it!!! and won't ever lease it...

Been using this set for the past 2 years. I even join as a MaryKay Ambassadress just to avail the discounted price for these products. And some of the product of MaryKAy that I did use. :)

But first of, Timewise MICRODERMABRASION SET tends to substitute the effect of Diamond Peel treatment (the main reason I did try this). Cause this product state that they can effectively removes dead skin cells; fight fine lines and refines pores; and contains the key exfoliating ingredients used by dermatologist to achieve beautifully smooth skin (which is very similar to D.P. treatment), the only difference is while using these your using your hands to do the process, and uses a sandblasting tool to shoot tiny aluminum oxide crystals at the surface of the skin while diamond peel is crystal free, but using a wand that contains an abrasive diamond tip that do all the magic as the same time vacuum all the dirt away with the wand suction.

The texture:
Step 1: Refine. The product is pure creamy white with a sandy (bead-like) texture. For fragrance no scent at all.

Step 2: Replenish. For the step 2 of the microdermabrasion technique, the replenish do have a lightweight, opalescent lavender color serum, without fragrance at all. It can easily absorbed to the skin.

Without further a do. I will walk you through the process of Timewise microdermabrasion.

First you need to wash your face with your regular face wash....While your face is still damp, place a pea size of your step 1: refine microdermabrasion product onto your 5 major area of your face (forehead, left/right cheeks, nose and chin). Then using your middle finger, and ring finger (make sure it's wet) massage your face in a circular motion for 3 to 5 minutes, avoid your eye area while doing this cause these areas are very sensitive. Note: if it becomes a bit dry make sure to put a little water on your finger as you continue massaging it.

After 5 minutes.... Rinse your face and make sure all the crystal product are removed. Pat your face dry with a towel, don't rub it cause if there's a crystal left on your face you can  scratch your face. Then at this time you can see the effect of it, it makes your face glow, fresh and refine. There will be slight red color on your skin after, but don't worry step 2: replenish microdermabrasion product will handle it :)

After you pat your face dry, apply the step 2: replenish product onto your face and massage it like what your doing with your serum/moisturizer, including your eye area. And voila... presenting your fresh and refined face...:) After these activity you can continue with your daily regimen :)

The visible result will be after a week from the first time you use it like a diamond peel session.

They said you can do it twice a week but I'm doing it twice a month.

Pros:

  • Can make your face fresh, refine and glowing.
  • Can make your pore smaller.
  • It's very efficient for people don't have time to go to there dermatologist to set a schedule for there diamond peel session.
  • You can also save money though if you purchase these, it might be a bit expensive but compare to going to the dermatologist for every session it will save you tons of your budget :)
  • For me using these product for fighting the fine lines is very effective, I'm 29 years old but I still can't notice a sign of aging on my skin,
  • And I notice if I do have a pimple and I do my session of microdermabrasion, my pimple can easily be dry on the next day.
Cons:
  • While doing these technique you need to be careful, or else you will scratch you beautiful face :)
  • And you might fall in love with it like I do :D
Definitely wants you to try it!!!! and tell me what can you say about the product.

For US area got a few sample here if you want to try it just hit me up or email me: emmelynanne_diaz@yahoo.com

Judgement Day!!!!! Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Cleansing foam & Benton Snail Bee High Content Essence (Part 2 of 2)

Hey Ladies!!!!

Hope everything is well .....

On this blog I'm giving you the 2nd part of my 1st review and this is for Benton Snail Bee High Content Essence. I bought this product @ Memebox_US for the price of $11, last March 14, 2016.

I know it took me awhile to deliver the 2nd part of my review cause I've been trying to read and research a lot of information of this product that can give you guy's a lot of idea before trying this product.

There's an incident before about the spoilage of this product and upon a series of investigation the head of the company state that since this item contains a natural preservative exposure to extreme temperature can cause spoilage. That's why it's not recommended to order this overseas especially in summer.

ALL ABOUT BENTON SNAIL BEE HIGH CONTENT ESSENCE

Ever wonder what are serum, essence and ampule and their differences?
I know a lot of us are not familiar with these kind of skincare, it's mostly belong to the Korean line of skincare and maybe some known brands are adopting these kind of merchandise too.

When we say ampule these are a supercharged serum with higher concentration of active ingredients that you're meant to use for a finite amount of time as a booster. It comes in a smaller bottle with droppers.

While Essence and Serum are mostly the same thing it can be thicker or thinner in consistency but they contain a high concentration of products ingredients.

What's this product all about?
Generally marketed as being anti-acne, anti-wrinkle, whitening/brightening and moisturizing. It has an anti-irritation and antibacterial effect. This is good for any skin types including sensitive and trouble one. Even males can also use it (my husband's using it).

Characteristic of this essence

These essence is a clear gel-like not to thick liquid. It has no fragrance or scent at all, good for those who's sensitive when it come to scent in there skincare regimen.

List of ingredients in this product with their function
  • Snail Secretion Filtrate  -  *active ingredient
  • Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice  -  antioxidant; antibacterial; anti-inflammatory
  • Glycerin  -  solvent; moisturizer
  • Arbutin  -  whitening
  • Butylene Glycol - solvent; moisturizer
  • Human Oligopeptide-1 - stimulate collagen production
  • Bee Venom  -  *active ingredient
  • Plantago Asiatia extract (aka Chinese plantain)
  • Laminaria Digitata Extract (aka algae aka oarweed)
  • Diospyros Kaki leaf extract (aka persimmon)
  • Salix Alba Bark extract (aka willow bark)  -  anti-inflammatory;  astringent
  • Ulmus cam pestris extract (aka elm)
  • Bacillus Ferment
  • Azelaic Acid  -  whitening
  • Althaea rosea flower extract (aka hollyhock)
  • Aloe barbadensis leaf extract  -  moisturizer; emollient
  • Beta-glucan  -  anti-allergic
  • Betaine  -  viscocity control; antistatic; moisturizer
  • Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Cross Polymer  -  viscocity control
  • Adenosine
  • Panthenol  -  antistatic; moisturizer
  • Allantoin  -  anti-inflammatory; anti-allergic
  • Zanthoxylum Piperatum Fruit Extract (aka sichuan pepper)
  • Usnea Barbata extract (aka lichen)
  • Pulsatilla Koreana Extract (aka Korean pasque flower)
  • Arginine  -  antistatic; moisturizer
The 2 active ingredients of this product are the snail secretion and bee venom. It might be a little wild/exotic to hear especially to a newbie like me. But snail secretion in Korean product are usually use as one of the ingredient in there beauty products cause it contains a number of useful chemicals that can benefits the skin. And these are the following:
  • Enzyme - this chemical are vital for the skin health, it includes gentle exfoliation that removes dead skin cells and the reduction of inflammation that has been correlate with the aging process of the skin. So by means of reducing it, it can potentially slow the process  of aging.
  • Hyaluronic Acid - it's a molecule that naturally occurs in the human body. This is significant in skincare because it has an ability to attract moisture to the treatment site.
  • Glycoproteins - this snail slime chemicals also do wonders for aging skin by improving communication between skin cells. It can also improve the efficiency of cell function thereby leading to a healthy skin.
Now let us discuss the Bee Venom . One of the most important qualities of this ingredient is that it can cause very mild damage to the skin, which stimulates the body's natural healing processes. This, in turn may stimulate the production of collagen in the skin; a vital protein that forms the basis of the skin support structure.

So over-all the main intention of this products is to attack several aspects of skin aging by boosting the support structure underneath and improving cell function in the uppermost layers of the skin.

Application
After cleaning my face with my usual cleanser and toner, I just put 4 to 5 pumps of Snail Bee High Content Essence onto my face before putting my moisturizer. I usually applied it in the morning and at night. It can be absorb in the skin so quickly without leaving some residual stickiness.

Outcome
After weeks of trying this product I'll give it an A+ for everything, not only it gives an awesome result on my skin but also for my husband's skin. My husband has been dealing from over drying and redness on his nose area when he won't put any cream as soon as he gets out from the shower but after I let him try this, the result was so fascinating. And even premature wrinkles are slowly making improvement. It did brighten my face and my pimple marks.

Attached on this blog is the image of the forehead and nose area of my husband with a promising improvement after using this product.

Will I recommend it to you guys??
Definitely. I won't make a list of the pros and cons of this product because all I can say are all pros. This product is really good most especially for men and women on their mid 20's and up. And all skin type.

And we come to an end. Hope you get some beneficial information on this blog. For my US friends who would like to try this product or some korean product Memebox gives a 20% discount for a $25 worth of products http://share.memebox.com/x/yDoeoo, and there website is www.us.memebox.com.      Till next time guy!!!
Kisses...... Emmelyn

Judgement Day!!!!! Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Cleanising foam & Benton Snail Bee High Content Essence (Part 1 of 2)

Hello my beautiful and ever lovely readers!!! Hope everything is well.

As promised, I'm giving you an update of the two Korean products that I recently used and now is the time for me to give you my judgement of these products.

First, I'll start with the Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Cleansing foam

PRODUCT  INFO:
Brand:  Innisfree
Product  Name: Jeju Volcanic Pore Cleansing foam
Description:  A pore cleansing foam that contains jeju volcanic clusters which absorbs excess sebum and purifies pores.
Size: 150 ml and 300 ml ( I purchase the 150 ml)
Main Ingredient/s:  Jeju Volcanic scoria (an alkaline substance with pH level similar to human body. It is an ingredient free from impurities
Features:  Suitable for oily skin and enlarged pores.
Removes trouble-causing impurities in pores for cleaner ckin
Texture: Has a white thick creamy texture with a tiny pink reddish particle which I assume to be the volcanic scoria
Fragrance: It has a foresty or fruity like smell (which I like, it's a thumbs up for me)

The texture can easily emulsify once mix with water. This product is not very bubbly maybe it's because of their creamy consistency but just give you an enough foam to lather and massage onto your face. The tiny pink reddish particle easily melt as  it emulsify.

How to use
You just need a pea-sized of foam into your hands and make it in a rich lather then massage it onto your face using you ring and middle fingers (these are the gentle fingers and we don't want to apply a lot of pressure to our face, right?) While I'm massaging my face with this foam I make sure I include my neck and a little portion of my chest area ( I do this in all the skin and beauty products I'm using :)), these areas  are also exposed to harsh chemicals  same as our face. Like, Ms. Morgan of  TheBeautyBreakdown said whatever you apply onto your face make sure to apply it onto your neck & chest part :) Then rinse it off with a lukewarm water and pat it gently until it dry.

My Own Point of  View:
As what I'd observe after my first week of using this product it really works on cleaning my face, though I don't really have a large pores. I can feel that my face became so light and clean especially after a long day of work and in a whole day  wearing light  make up.

That's also one thing I really like about this product is they can remove the make up I'm wearing (I'm just a light make up person though), the first few days I use this product solely as my cleanser and make up remover and Viola!!!! it works, maybe not on my eye and lip area but all over my face it became clean and fresh.

Also I read that this product do have a high alkalinity that might cause the skin to be more dry that's why it's indicated to those with oily skin but for me as I belong to a normal/combination type of skin it works for me and it didn't make my face dryer. Just make sure to use some essence or moisturizer before going to bed. And maybe use this product at nighttime only to cleanse and rejuvenate your skin, then give your face another light facial wash in the morning to preserve the moisture you have in your skin.

Pros:
  • It can remove light make up on my face
  • It can make your face light and clean
  • Maybe I don't have a large pores but what I notice was my little pores became clear
  • Since they said that its pore cleaning this product didn't leave any red mark or blemishes to my face (its very gentle).
  • It didn't make my face dried out
  • Has an amazing smell
Cons:
  • This product can't totally remove a heavy make up, you still need some remover
Will I recommend it?
Yeah, I will recommend using it for those people who had an oily skin (most especially) maybe you can use it twice a day. And for those people who have a skin type like mine just use it at night to totally clean our face.

Will I buy it again?
Yes, I definitely write this product on my skin care list but I will still look for some new products that will amaze me with their use and effects. :)

So I'm done with my judgement on my Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Cleansing foam. Hope I did add a little info bout this product. :)

Now watch out for my part 2 of my judgement day for Benton Snail Bee High Content Essence.

                         Till next time.....
